Viavai – Cultural smuggling

Since autumn 2014 the cultural exchange programme «Viavai – Contrabbando culturale Svizzera-Lombardia» has put the cultural collaboration between Switzerland and Italy in the spotlight. The program was initiated by the Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia in collaboration with the Cantons Ticino and Valais, the City of Zurich and the Ernst Göhner Foundation. It also received the patronage of the Lombardy Region and of the City of Milan. The aim of the programme is to intensify relations between Switzerland and Italy and, in particular, to incentivize the creation of long-lasting links between cultural institutions and actors from both territories and to do that by supporting the production of binational projects.

The first meeting of Viavai side-programme, in Cascina Cuccagna is concept by Pro Helvetia and developed by esterni. Temporiuso.net took part with BAAM!
