Happinessie, il mostro della felicità è un workshop sul riuso temporaneo di luoghi abbandonati e l’identità complessa della città, che si terrà dal 4 al 10 giugno a Perugia in occasione di Festarch 2012.

Obiettivo del laboratorio, organizzato dall’Isia di Urbino, l’associazione temporiuso.net con il DIAP – Politecnico di Milano e in collaborazione con l’associazione perperugia e oltre, è l’elaborazione di un progetto pilota di policies di riuso temporaneo di spazi in abbandono o sottoutilizzati per la città di Perugia, con un focus particolare e un progetto site specific per il mercato ortofrutticolo, che nasca dallo stesso contesto di studio, utilizzando i materiali, i segni e i linguaggi propri del luogo, nell’ottica del riuso.

During the second edition of Festarch 2012 in Perugia, Isia of Urbino, the association temporiuso.net with the DIAP – Milan Polytechnic, in collaboration with the association perperugia e oltre present the project Happinessie Perugia. The happiness monster, and organise and run the a 7 – days event dedicated to the field – testing of designing the reusing of abandoned and underused spaces and the spontaneous and self – generative identity.
A group of students selected from the schools will apply processes of research, investigation, narration, open participatory design, in order to start projects of temporary reusing of abandoned spaces and the telling of complex identities.
The objective of the workshop is the production of data, diaries, graphic works, installations rising from the study context, using materials, signs and languages peculiar of the place, in the perspective of recovery and reusing. The entire work will be collected in a blog accessible during and after the workshop, and that will be donated to the city of Perugia as legacy.
